I am back - Wargaming Workshop back in business
« on: August 01, 2019, 03:22:58 PM »
Greetings all. After a couple of years of absence, I am finally back to blogging. Veterans of the forum might remember my quests to paint the Specialist Games range, including plenty of EPIC armies over on the Tactical Commands sister forum. Old logs here:

http://www.forum.specialist-arms.com/index.php?topic=5971.0
Eldar ToEG 2012 http://taccmd.tacticalwargames.net/viewtopic.php?f=119&t=22752
Squat ToEG 2011 http://taccmd.tacticalwargames.net/viewtopic.php?f=119&t=20775
Necron ToEG 2011 http://taccmd.tacticalwargames.net/viewtopic.php?f=119&t=21771
Chaos ToEG 2010 http://taccmd.tacticalwargames.net/viewtopic.php?f=119&t=18817

Armed with a new camera, I will now be re-photographing my old collection as well of course chronicle my progress against the miniature mountain. At current count, this means almost 8,000 models to photograph and about 4,000 still to paint. On with it!

For now, I have updated the Mordheim section https://wargamingworkshop.com/games-armies/mordheim/ of my blog with new photos and will be working through other updates in the Specialist Games section. Updates will come over time. During the break from blogging, I did continue painting so there is also a backlog of Mordheim, Blood Bowl and Warmaster armies to post. Still, much more remains to be painted...

As teasers, below are some additions to my Mordheim range that just got uploaded (everything else is just new photos of older models).

Mordheim is a blind spot for me so I'm always happy to see more  models for that!  Welcome back!

Welcome back. I discovered your splendid wargaming room maybe a year ago, and subsequently the rest of your website. It was a joy to pour through. I'm glad to hear updates will be coming forth!

Thanks for the kind welcome. I just updated a new warband. The mighty Averlander in traditional style. More pics at https://wargamingworkshop.com/games-armies/mordheim/averlander-warband/

Updated the Battlefleet Gothic section with new photos of my initial four fleets:

Chaos Fleet https://wargamingworkshop.com/games-armies/battlefleet-gothic/chaos-fleet-2/

Eldar Fleet https://wargamingworkshop.com/games-armies/battlefleet-gothic/eldar-fleet-2/

Imperial Fleet https://wargamingworkshop.com/games-armies/battlefleet-gothic/imperial-fleet-2/

Ork Fleet https://wargamingworkshop.com/games-armies/battlefleet-gothic/ork-fleet-2/

Includes some new models for the Imperials and Chaos fleets (and a new paint job for the Imperials because I couldn't reproduce the old blue :)). Photos on the pages.

Thanks for the comments. Uploaded a recently painted Imperial Fist fleet here:

In the Special Games section, I still have to re-photograph the Warmaster and EPIC sections - those will take a while - and then a couple of recently painted Mordheim warbands  (and of course paint a whole bunch more :)). Getting there!

Nice!  Are these official models or kit bashed? I'm not familiar with the Mordheim range.
