Just want to shoot it out there.  I am hosting a game for man o'war at the upcoming adepticon.  Friday night, 29th of March.

If you need a fleet, let me know and i can provide if i know in advanced.  It will be a free game to play.  Hope to see some of you cut throats there!

I'm game. I was looking at Space Hulk or another Necromunda in that time slot but MoW would be fun. Let's start Eric a little closer than we did two years ago though, so he get start shooting stuff sometime before three hours into the game...

Adepticon is really frustrating me.

I filled out their huge long form to submit and then it would seem, they re-typed the whole thing.  I ended up not saving it but I typed out a whole description including the facebook page url and some more information so I could just copy and paste into their form without any errors, BUT all for not.

So...
1 thousand point fleets
I really have 3 total rule "bends", in case we can actually play out a tournament of sorts (6+ players)

1.) Defensive fire will only occur when boarding actions are announced with fliers and monsters.
2.) Orc spells will not be canceled due to pulling an event card but all events will act immediately as activated
3.) (do not have the citadel journal rules on me right now)One of the high elf specific magic items, the damned sphere of something or other, all rolls for the enemy fleet ship are +1 from the rules.  EX: So if a ship needs to roll a 5+ to move that turn, they actually just need a 4+ (further details tonight when I can look at the actual rules).

These three rules have been widely agreed upon in the French community for a good number of years.  Not sure if they are official to them but that's how I am doing it  ;)

As per #3 above, the damned sphere of caltahari.  The target ship must roll a 5 on a D6 or be immobilized for the turn.  To fire, the target ship must roll a 4, 5 or a 6 on a D6. An admiral aboard adds +1 to these rolls, where a wizard aboard or equivalent (such as a dwarven runesmith) allows the player to re-roll the dice once.
