Excellent - the use of Vanguard batteries/ turrets is really cool. Liking that wee laser platform too!

got a couple of hours to myself today so the mackay mkII orbital has had a dose of paint.
not a great shot but what I've done is add more lighter highlights than on my devastatus/armageddon fleet just to differentiate the station somewhat. went for slate grey roof panels and weathered bronze on the aerial (but that doesn't show too well on this pic.
fyi the ad-tit spire kit has lots of sharp contrasts to its detail making it ideal for basecoat/wash/drybrush technique oftimes used for bfg so this is +/- how i'll do the starfort too...

it'll have a bronze/verdigrised dome with a very golden eagle, slate grey spires/butress tops, and slate grey/tarmac black flat areas.  ;D

I like the colour so far. Not too visible. A station will hardly have brightfull colours, while a vessel will be painted that way a more frequent way i suppose.

That looks amazing. But, surely, you need more than one? ;)

What in hell's satans am I going to do with ten!? I've only a half bedroom house so space is a serious premium. Not collecting to game just to paint/convert these days... Otherwise would have to ditch half my collection each year to make room for fresh...

See, Marell have some sage advice!  :P ;D

I can sympathise with those issues though. I had to pack all of my things away for about 2 years whilst I was building my new house. Luckily, I am in there now and have a converted stable as my gaming room AND have a hobby room/study to escape into and dodge adult responsibilities.  ;D

Another possibility is that you store all your things at my place. I wont charge you rent or anything!!

Damn man that sounds like my dream setup. I rent a tiny little lodge house bungalo in Chigwell that is just me the missus and the kitty. 1/2 a bedroom(10'x7'), lounge, kitchen and bathroom. That's it indoors... The garden on the other hand... Huge! Perhaps a decent high-end shed come summerhouse/workroom is in order but who will pay for it is anyone's guess... Love it though... Home is home...
