Thanks mate. I got my MicroSol in the post on Friday so spent all of yesterday tackling this...

It still needs some work around the joints in the armour but I'm pretty chuffed with how it's taken. I had to apply about 4 of 5 coats around some areas to get them to smooth out.

Whilst I'm on about the carapace armour. The main armour will be black but I'm unsure of the raised armour around his head. Should it be gold? I'm worried it will be to much gold......

I also started work on the knee plates. I have just done a freehand Legio Crucius symbol that took me hours to do. (I figured they can have close ties to the Titan Legion (future purchase?  ;D) Pictures of that when I've completed the other details.

I used the Vallejo transfer set myself and it seems to do the job well enough.  I'm still very inexperienced with transfers, but your stuff looks great!

Stormwind: Honestly, I don't use decals much either. I usually try to freehand everything I do and only really use decals if I'm doing gaming models and then they're kinda just slapped on. So this is all learning on the job for me.

Marell le fou: Ask and ye shall receive. I didn't want to take a picture of the knee pad before it was finished but, eh, it probably wont be finished for a while now that I'm back at work, so I'll make an exception just for you. It is still WIP!!

I've been told that the quality of GW transfers nowadays is a lot better than in the past so perhaps that helps a bit!

Wow, it's a marvel anyway. Really, those decals are doing the job.

I have not testes recent GW decals. I will try when i will begin to paint my Adeptus Titanicus stuff.

Well, I'm liking them :D But maybe that's because they're Forge World rather than GW?

Ok, a little bit more progress with the Rogue Trader ship.

Also, because Forge World released some new Armigers I had to go and convert up some of my old Armigers to try them out :D WIP obviously :P

Thanks :D

Well, almost there. I just need to add some prow details and that is where I am stuck. I'm not sure what to do and if I can reliably sculpt it!!

Fits the standard GW weapons.

Forgot I got the samples of the Battleship prow in!!

I'll hopefully get one of these painted up once the Rogue Trader ship is done.

Ok, well, I was going to call this done but looking at the pictures I realise the inside feathers are at the wrong angle. So I'm going to have to correct them tomorrow *Mutters*. Other than that I added some eeny weeny teeny tiny turrets to the dorsal section. Just because it was a big empty space in need of something. If, y'know, 2mm is considered big.
