Tale of Warmaster Painters - May 2016
« on: April 19, 2016, 06:33:31 PM »
The format I was thinking of is below (one month sprints will allow for more participants, I think, compared to a year long affair). If people want to do something different, discuss.

  • Decide what you're going to paint and post it here by April 30
  • Paint and post WiP shots here as well after that
  • Post final shots here by May 31 (put [ENTRY] in the post so we can find them via the search box on the top right of the page)
  • I'll then start a poll here for the final shots that will run for a week. Vote for your favorite

Participants

  • dry_erase - skeleton chariots and archers
  • mlkr - gobbos
  • Stormwind - Chaos Chariots
  • Gorrin - dwarf slayers, hammers, black orcs, dwarf cannons, dwarf hero, two polar fox ironsides, chaos dragon
  • deniz - Dwarf Warriors
  • Azactoth - Savage Orc Boyz
  • empireaddict - Trolls
  • andys - Araby Desert Riders and some Irregular figs
  • kyussinchains - two Dwarf Warriors
  • Sjapie - Beast Tamers, Savage Orcs, Boar Boyz, wound counters
  • bsonbudak - High Elf Spearmen and Eagles
  • BlackEd - one unit of Temple Oni and Samurai Hero on Dragon
  • Tiberius - one stand of Zweihänder and one unit of Armbrustschützen
  • Geep - Orc Warriors
  • mdivancic - undead
  • Aquahog - two Flagellants
  • Lex - Landsknechte
  • Ole - Knights Panther and a Hero
  • jchaos79 - Daemon horde, Daemon character, Damon cavalry
  • Dave - a unit of Zweihänder and Pikeniere

So, thanks Dave for leading this.

I'm in and finally I decide to go for a Daemon Nurgle Papa Army.

My final goal is:

3x Daemon hordes ...225
2x Daemon swarms ...90
2x Daemon cavalry ...220
1x Daemon flyer ...80
1x Grater Daemon...300
1x Daemon overlord..135
1x Daemon Hero ..100

Total 1150  9 Units BP5

Have all here except daemon flyer, I need to make my order today  ::) also I need bases   :o

Need to think a mood for basing... What do you think guys? rocky? lava? sand? warp? green grass?

For 31 of May There are 5 weeks. I used to paint one unit per week but to be honest maybe I could not manage it. So I will say the half. 3 units.

My goal for 31 march:
1x Daemon horde
1x Daemon character
1x Damon cavalry

No problem. If we wanted to make this a monthly thing you could start the next one (June 2016) the last week of May.

What kind of daemons?

Ok, let's see how it goes :)

About the daemons, power of Nurgle is coming....

It always been my favourite chaos power, so the time for having a warmaster army of nurgle has come!

I'll be doing a unit of polar fox beast tamers and another unit of orc warriors (savage orcs).
There might be more, as I'm painting up more units for the colchester event. Ah, and I'll try to finish Some wound counters with a model for my orc army.
