Ok, thanks for the encouragement. I'd be more than a little unhappy if I finished this only to have no one play me on it :P

I've added some pre-set scenario types (long and short deployment zones marked out for standard games) and I think this is it for now. I can't add the file type in this forum (Mods- if this is under your control can I please be allowed to put a .vmod file here? (481Kb))- So you'll have to go to here to download the mod: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fn1pi6prp3ne1cw/Warmaster0.vmod?dl=0
I haven't used Drop Box to share before- please let me know if there are problems.

Vassal itself can be downloaded from http://www.vassalengine.org/download.php
I've made this mod using version 3.2.13

There's a little information in the help file, but most of it is already stated more clearly here and if you have any questions about it feel free to ask!

Thanks JChaos

My local time is GMT +10:30 if anyone wants to play me on this. Currently I'm pretty free, so let me know what time suits you.

That's some good work that you've done here! I've made a first attempt at making sprites, this one's supposed to be a Chaos Knight. What do you think?

Thanks, and thanks heaps for the sprite!

I'll try and get the current army sprites uploaded soon (even though no army is complete yet), but I've been extremely busy recently.

You're welcome. It's just fun doing things like these, alot easier than painting the real ones :) Here's another one, a Dragon Ogre. Of course, you're free to edit these sprites, if you want to change them in any way.

Very nice Dragon Ogre

I'll keep your, and everyone else's (currently you, me and a friend of mine) sprites as-is, and have all available in the program. If there's any overlap of different sprites people can simply choose what they prefer in-program. I'd like to make my own version of every sprite for every army one day (I find it fun as well), but that may never happen (certainly not for years), so overlap is to be expected eventually. Along that line- feel free to make Empire sprites if they ever interest you (though I'd prefer if we work on the currently sprite-less races, so great choice with Chaos :) ).

I intend to credit everyone for their work in the program's Help section- would you prefer for me to use your username here or something else?

Thanks. Yeah, Chaos is the army that I have IRL so that's the one I'm most familiar with  :)

Concerning the credits my username here will do just fine.

I've done some tests on a Bretonnian spearman stand with the idea of it being a "template" so you can use it for other races with some minor modifications.

High Elves

Dark Elves

Wood Elves

And to continue the Chaos theme here's also a stand of Hounds:

Thanks alot! Feel free to come with any suggestions/comments about the units. I just noticed that there is no official army list for Wood Elves, but what the heck...

Bretonnian Archers

High Elf Archers

High Elf Bolt Thrower

Dark Elves Crossbows

Wood Elf Archers

Harpies

Wow, you've been busy! So have I and my other sprite-making friend- I'll try and share those soon.

I've added your previous pieces to the game- hopefully I can add these soon and share those extension files. Currently I've only got the program set to have the initial 6 armies from the rulebook- I've been adding things like the Wood Elf and Bretonnian spearmen as alternatives for the High Elves. I'll separate them out later, but don't want to get overwhelmed with all of the races at once.

What time zone are you in Shapeshifter? I should give you a game so you can see how it runs (assuming you haven't found an opponent yet), and let me know if you have any advice for that side of things.

Thanks again for your efforts.

A double post, but I think it's deserving- This is all of the Empire units in Talabecland colours.

Halberdiers, Skirmishers and Flagellants

Crossbowmen and Handgunners

Knights and Pistoliers

Cannon and Helblaster

A selection of Steam Tanks

The original Steam Tank is on the left. My friend Ehlijen (forum name) then gave advice to make the middle one, which I then altered again when I noticed the Warmaster Steam Tank model only has a turret cannon, not a hull mounted one.

I'm also well on my way to having the Empire characters done- hopefully they'll have a complete set soon.

Things I'd like to do with these guys in the future:
-Give options for command stands
-Add variety by altering each stand, so a unit isn't just a heap of clones stands
-Re-colour into other Empire factions

Making markers for other races first will be a priority though. Next up for me will be Orcs and Goblins.

I'll post Ehlijen's work soon.

Characters to lead the human rabble... err, I mean disciplined troops

General, 2 heroes and 2 wizards

General on Griffon, Hero on Griffon and Wizard on Griffon

Wizard on War Altar

Many thanks to my friend Ehlijen for his advice on colours for the above, and also for producing these:

Dwarfs

Warriors and Thunderers

Rangers and Trollslayers

Cannon, Flame Cannon and Gyrocopter

And to lead them:
General (with shield bearers), Hero, Runesmith and Runesmithwith Anvil

Also, some High Elves

Spearmen and Archers

Chariot and Bolt Thrower

With that lot, Empire and Dwarves are done for now, and between Shapeshifter and Ehlijen Chaos and High Elves are also well on their way

I should have some time soon to load these images into the game, and make them available for download.

A small note for anyone curious- when I enlarge the models to put on here it makes them a bit 'fuzzy', so I think they actually look better in-game with regular zoom.

Everything has been loaded into the game, and I've made a few tweaks to the main mod as well.

Vassal:
http://www.vassalengine.org/download.php

This Vassal Mod:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/fn1pi6prp3ne1cw/Warmaster0.vmod?dl=0

The extensions containing the army files:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/0qhlbc8cq59ds0a/AAAItstghL0PTOhIsaS3oezIa?dl=0

Extensions must be placed in the folder that the mod creates (Warmaster0), in a folder called 'Warmaster0_ext'. Alternatively, in Vassal, right click on the Warmaster mod and go to 'add extension', then find where you've saved them.

Let me know if any of these links don't work, or if anyone has trouble with the files and/or Vassal.

That sounds great, I'll install the mod later today. I'm somewhat concerned that the infantry I've made are too small, but I'll load them into Vassal and check them out. Will be interesting for sure!

Regarding the characters on the griffon, where the wings go outside the base, are you using alpha settings/transperancy for the rest of the image where the background will be showing through? I'm doing a dragon mount and I've put it on an infantry stand for now, but it would be cooler to have it on a round base.

Would be fun to have a game sometime and see how it works. I'm still a novice when it comes to the actual rules, so any practice is useful too :)  My timezone is GMT +1 (Europe).

Here are two more stands that I've made:

Great Eagles

Ogres
